Who is ACER?

ACER’s Traineeship Programme

As a trainee, your role will involve not only absorbing knowledge and gaining insights into the complexities of EU policies and procedures but also offering innovative ideas and viewpoints that reflect the experiences and perspectives of the younger generation.

Starting dates: 1st of September and 1st of March

What is your role:

  • Offer hands-on support and assistance in the daily tasks as well as projects of the team/department
  • Operational support function in the area of focus
  • Exploring application of know-how gained in university

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant completed undergraduate university degree;
  • Nationals of EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Ukraine;
  • Excellent written and oral English.

Duration:

  • 6 months, with potential extension for further 6 months
  • Full-time work rhythm

 

ACER’s Graduate Programme

The Graduate programme offers a 1-year of first-hand experience in cutting-edge projects. Programme accelerates professional growth, by providing hands on work experience in an EU Agency under the guidance of experts.

There are no set starting dates, posts are filled on a rolling basis.

What is your role:

  • Inflow recent academic insights; bridge with academia
  • Challenge status-quo
  • Conceptual, interdisciplinary, project-based

What we are looking for:

  • Master degree graduates or PhD researchers from relevant fields;
  • Nationals of EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein;
  • Excellent written and oral English.

Duration:

  • 1 year (flexible for PhD candidates)
  • Flexible working schemes for PhD candidates
